1999

Entrepreneur Giuseppe Alongi moved to Genoa and established El Krom LLC, an Italian company operating in the power sector.

After a period of consolidation and extensive cooperation with major energy field corporations, the company underwent internationalization, expanding its activities in Poland, Tunisia, Bangladesh, India, Spain, Belgium, Cyprus, Chile, Egypt, and Algeria.

In 2008, the company was sold to a large industrial group in Piacenza

In 2009, Giuseppe moved to Egypt, where he founded El Krom Middle East (EME). He continued to focus on the business already established through his Italian company, with industrial skid and switchboard production activities, electro-instrumental coordination and erection, and commissioning and services in the power station sector.
